2. File Handling — Your Important Privacy Point

Our tools (such as PDF merge, split, compress, rotate, PDF-to-Word, the Resume Builder, and Cover Letter Generator) run entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. Files you upload are processed locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers, not stored, and not shared with anyone. Once you close or refresh the page, the files are gone.

We never access, retain, or view the contents of the documents you process. Any text you enter into our forms (e.g. resume or cover letter fields) also stays in your browser and is never transmitted to us.

3. Information We Collect

We collect very little personal data. In general, you can use our tools without creating an account or providing personal details. We may collect limited, non-identifying data such as:

• Basic usage data (pages visited, referring site, device type) for analytics.
• Information you voluntarily provide, such as an email address if you sign up for tool-launch notifications.

4. Cookies, Local Storage & Advertising

We use browser local storage (localStorage) to remember your cookie-consent choice and site preferences, such as your last-used template. This local storage stays on your device and is not accessible to us.

We do not store your files or the content you enter into our tools, so there is nothing for us to retain in that respect. Limited analytics data we collect (see Sections 3 and 5) is kept only as long as necessary for the purposes described here, or as required by law.

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can address it.
